This position is open for the entire market. If offered, you will train at a financial center and may begin in a phone‑based capacity until a suitable location within commuting distance is determined.
Job responsibilities include providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Key duties are triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products. Employees must also apply and expand knowledge by completing required licenses and trainings.
This position may involve residential mortgage loan origination and requires SAFE Act registration. Employees must register with the federal registry system and maintain good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Responsibilities- Works with clients to plan short‑ and long‑term financial goals by building a financial plan that includes brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking solutions.
- Recommends banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs.
- Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities.
- Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services.
- Currently holds Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) licenses, or the ability to obtain the missing series within 60 days.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the investments industry, including in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Strong relationship building and collaboration skills.
- Effective communication and confidence in engaging all clients.
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast‑paced environment.
- Adaptability and a drive to learn and seek the right solutions for clients.
- Efficient time and capacity management.
- Thorough incorporation of regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long‑term strategies.
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
- Minimum of three years of experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
