Assist Mortgage Loan Officer in obtaining required documentation from the borrowers and other staff to assure loans are closed in a timely manner meeting customer expectations. Assure documentation meets all regulatory and agency guidelines. Work with the Mortgage Loan Officer in marketing First Financial Bank to increase productivity.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Assist the Loan Officer in obtaining documentation from customers
Act as an interface between Loan Officer and Operations to obtain required documentation
Work with Encompass, Blend, Xperience and other systems as needed
Interface with customer as needed
Assist the Loan Officer in marketing efforts
All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor OR Mortgage Loan Officer
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Level of Complexity and Scope Degree of Independence and Decision-Making Required Supervisory Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

Occasionally lifts and carries up to 20 lbs.
Frequently lifts and carries up to 10 lbs.
Occasionally drives.
Frequently sits, stands and walks.

Compliance Statement

The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.

Development and Training Pay Range

This position pays at least the applicable state minimum wage plus commission opportunities based on performance
