Job DutiesWe are seeking a Nursing Assistant who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
About the UnitThe Oncology Unit (also known as 2A) is a 10-bed unit that provides care to chemotherapy/cancer support/hospice/telemetry/post-op patients. Nurses have the opportunity to build their skill set in a med/surg atmosphere while also developing specialty skills related to chemotherapy and oncology care.
Qualifications- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
