Baptist Health Floyd, Women's Health Services – Part‑time (24 hours weekly), Days (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.)

Job Duties- Act as a resource nurse for the department and coordinate care on designated shifts.
- Provide leadership to the unit’s staff in patient care and work alongside the team to deliver direct patient care.
- Determine staffing fluctuations during shifts, respond to departmental concerns, address immediate staff issues, and coordinate patient flow.
- Have immediate oversight of employees while performing the same or directly related work as those the position leads.
Women’s Health Services is located on the same floor as the Labor and Delivery unit and is a 19‑bed unit utilizing a couplet care model following the AWHONN staffing guidelines. The unit also cares for female post‑operative patients who have recently undergone gynecological or bariatric procedures.
Qualifications- Graduate of an approved nursing program, holding a minimum of an ASN.
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
- NRP certification required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
- S.T.A.B.L.E certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
- Low Risk Neonatal Nursing RNC‑LRN required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
- One year of nursing experience required; one year of experience in area of specialty preferred.
- Professional/Specialty certification required as per unit/department standards.
