  • Assess current‑state systems, identify gaps, and execute consolidation strategies.
  • Standardize infrastructure, tools, and operational processes across all entities.
  • Eliminate redundancies and align all systems under a common technology framework.
Infrastructure & Network Consolidation
  • Oversee and actively participate in the integration of multiple networks and environments.
  • Ensure connectivity, performance, and security across all locations.
  • Define and implement scalable infrastructure standards across the organization.
Managed Services Oversight
  • Direct and coordinate three Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
  • Establish clear operational expectations, SLAs, and escalation paths.
  • Hold MSPs accountable for execution, performance, and documentation.
  • Act as the technical authority bridging internal operations and external providers.
Security & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with SOC 2 Type II standards aligned to the NIST framework.
  • Standardize security controls and practices across all entities.
  • Oversee audit readiness, risk mitigation, and remediation efforts.
  • Align all environments to a consistent cybersecurity posture.
Cloud & Systems Architecture
  • Lead cloud strategy, including migration, optimization, and governance.
  • Integrate cloud and on‑premise environments into a cohesive hybrid architecture.
  • Ensure scalability, cost efficiency, and security across platforms.
Documentation & Operational Discipline
  • Establish and enforce strict documentation standards across all systems and vendors.
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation of:
    • Network architectures
    • System configurations
    • Processes and procedures
  • Drive consistency and accessibility of technical knowledge across the organization.
Vendor Management & Budget Ownership
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all technology vendors.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance expectations.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize the IT budget, including forecasting, cost control, and ROI evaluation.
  • Drive cost efficiency while maintaining performance and security standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align technology with operational needs.
  • Provide clear communication and direction across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a hands‑on, Director or Senior IT leadership role within multi‑entity or acquisition‑driven environments.
  • Demonstrated success in integrating disparate systems, networks, and infrastructure.
  • Strong experience managing and coordinating multiple MSPs.
  • Deep knowledge of SOC 2 Type II compliance and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Advanced expertise in networking, infrastructure, and systems integration.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Exceptional documentation discipline and process standardization skills.
  • Proven experience creating and managing IT budgets.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation capabilities.
  • Willingness to work directly within systems and environments (not a purely strategic role).
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically with minimal oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading post‑acquisition IT integration efforts.
  • Background in environments with mixed legacy and modern systems.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure Architect, etc.).
  • Experience working in operational or production‑driven organizations.
Key Success Metrics

  • Improved system reliability, security posture, and operational efficiency.
  • Full alignment with SOC 2 Type II and NIST compliance standards.
  • Effective coordination and performance of MSPs.

  • Complete, standardized, and maintainable technical documentation across all systems.
