Touchdown Business Solutions is hiring a Materials Buyer for one of our reputable, established clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily component purchasing to align with production schedules.
- Work with suppliers to resolve shortages and expedite the delivery of critical parts.
- Keep ERP data accurate and update purchase orders as needed.
- Communicate with suppliers about orders, deliveries, and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Assembly teams on urgent part needs.
- Help control inventory by balancing availability and minimizing excess.
- Attend daily operations meetings and provide status updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, or 3-7 years of relevant purchasing/materials management experience
- Sourcing experience with component parts
- Proficient with ERP systems
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Shift Time & Pay:
Monday
- Friday 7:30am-4:30pm Salary role: $55,000-$65,000
Full-Time/Part-Time
