Responsibilities
Educator responsible for all aspects of education within the surgical hospital. Covers needs of clinical and non-clinical areas.
* New Hire Education and Orientation Plan
* Facility Wide Annual Competencies (clinical and non-clinical)
* Education Module and Certification tracking
* Site manager for web based module needs (epic portal/healthstream, UKG pro, etc)
* Works directly with leaders/management to arrange for educational events and plan education activities based on departmental needs
* Performs annual education needs assessment
* Functions as the facility safety officer and performs tasks/job duties associated with the safety officer role that is standard within SCA facilities
* Facility lead for outlying programs (prosser students, shadowing, etc.)
Qualifications
* Must hold active RN license, BSN required, MSN preferred
* Perioperative Clinical Experience (OR/Preop/PACU/Endoscopy) required
* Prior education experience preferred
* BLS required
* ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire
* PALS required or obtained within 90 days of hire
USD $75,000.00/Yr. USD $/Yr.
