TITLE: Athletic Workers for Athletic Programs and Events

CLASSIFICATION: Extra Duty

LENGTH: Hours and days worked will vary

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director / Event Manager Event

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The ability to work as part of a team, maintaining regular and consistent attendance/punctuality
• The ability to understand and carry out instructions and request clarification when needed
• The ability to complete tasks with attention to detail, accuracy and organization
• The ability to maintain a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers at all times

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with set up, breakdown, and operational duties of athletic programs and events.
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by Athletic Director / other designee.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Employee shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the Corporation.
