Nursing Assistant PCU Part Time Nights

Job Summary

Seeking Nursing Assistant at Baptist Health Floyd, Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Part‑time (24 hours weekly), night shift (7pm‑7am). Benefit eligible.

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 32‑bed intermediate level of care unit between inpatient units and critical care units. Although the unit specializes in cardiovascular care, nurses encounter diagnoses such as CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, sepsis, etc. Nurses working closely with an interdisciplinary team provide excellent care for a high‑acuity population.

• Function as an on‑shift team member under general supervision and established procedures.
• Provide delegated aspects of patient care and complete routine non‑patient‑care unit maintenance tasks.
• Support nursing staff in management of drips and other specialized procedures.

• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred; not required.
