Job Summary

Seeking Registered Nurse – WOW! Baptist Health Floyd, Cardiovascular ICU Part‑Time (24 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm‑7am), Weekend Only. Benefit eligible.

In this role, the Cardiac ICU RN will provide direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge. The RN will function as an on‑shift team member, delivering direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co‑workers.

The Cardiovascular Intensive (CVU) specializes in open‑heart surgery patients and provides expert cardiac care, including pre‑operative teaching, open‑heart recovery, cardiac ICU care, and discharge teaching. The unit also manages general ICU patients, complex cardiology patients, and those requiring cardiac devices or post‑cardiac arrest cooling.

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• ACLS certification (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required, within 10 weeks of hire.
• Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience, specifically to hold a PRN position.
• New graduate RNs welcome.
