Job DutiesIn this role, the RN or LPN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
About the UnitSurgical Inpatient Services also known as SIPS is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients. LPNs and RNs work with a variety of surgical patients including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and care for higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions originating from areas such as the emergency room or a physician's office.
SIPS is a wonderful unit for New Graduate LPNs and RNs who want exposure to a wide variety of patients.
Work every weekend and receive PREMIUM PAY for WOW shifts.
Qualifications- Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license.
- BLS for Healthcare provider required.
