Job Summary

Seeking a Nursing Assistant Unit Secretary for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVU) at Baptist Health Floyd. The role is full‑time, 36 hours per week, night shift (7pm–7am). Employees are eligible for benefits.

The Nursing Assistant Unit Secretary functions as an on‑shift team member under the direction of the nurse, providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non‑patient care unit maintenance tasks.

The CVU specializes in the care of open‑heart surgery patients and also cares for general ICU patients, complex cardiology patients, patients with devices such as intra‑aortic balloon pumps and Impella, and patients requiring cooling after cardiac arrest.

• BLS certification from an approved BLS course required (training will be provided).
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

1850 State Street, New Albany, IN 47150. 36 hours per week, nights 7pm–7am.
