Oncology Nurse PRN Night

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Baptist Health Floyd Oncology Unit (2A) on a PRN, night shift basis. The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge and serve as a vital on‑shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and coworkers.

The Oncology Unit is a 10‑bed, med/surg environment that provides care to patients receiving chemotherapy, cancer support, hospice, telemetry, and post‑operative services. New graduates are encouraged to join.

• Provide direct, comprehensive nursing care from patient admission to discharge.
• Act as an on-shift team member, delivering patient care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Attend to the physical and emotional needs of patients, families, and coworkers.

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Chemo certification obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum of one (1) year of prior nursing experience for a PRN position.
