Title: Registered Nurse (RN), Pre‑Op/PACU – Part Time

Hours:
- Part Time – ideally 2–3 days per week
- Shifts within Monday‑Friday 6:30 am‑5:00 pm, with flexibility for earlier/later starts as needed
- No late nights, weekends, or on‑call shifts
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- Current RN license (required)
- Preferred prior nursing experience in an ambulatory surgical center (ASC), PACU, ICU, medical‑surgical or telemetry floor
Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with federal, state, accreditation standards and company policies. Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by the RN and any supervised staff. Participates in direct patient care and maintains a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
Performance Expectations- Critical Thinking: Supervise and direct patient care in an operating room; ensure proper techniques; report unusual occurrences; coordinate continuity of care.
- Interpersonal: Friendly, courteous, professional manner; effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and staff; teamwork; compliance with HIPAA and patient rights.
- Job Knowledge/Responsibilities: Ethical and legal practice within scope of RN license; accurate medical record keeping; adherence to schedule; response to emergencies; ongoing education; independent and group work; assist in training new staff.
- Attendance: Arrive on time with minimal absences.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required).
BSN preferred.
Current RN license.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) preferred.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
Minimum prior experience in surgical, ASC, PACU, ICU, medical‑surgical, or telemetry floors.
Proof of U.S. work authorization and identity required.
Knowledge of Amkai Office, Amkai Charts Database software, and Microsoft Word. Ability to useprinter, copier, telephone, fax, and patient monitoring equipment.
Physical DemandsWalk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods; occasionally lift or move up to 25 lb; occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, and climb.
Accident or Health HazardsRegular exposure to blood and body substances; risk of needle sticks.
Working ConditionsWell‑lit and ventilated surroundings, including operating rooms, nurse stations, procedure rooms, and lounge areas.
