Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm-7am)

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

About the Unit:

The Neuro Intermediate Unit (NIU) is a 41-bed unit specializing in both Neuroscience and Progressive Care (PCU) step-down nursing. With excellent nurse-to-patient ratios (3–4:1), our team provides exceptional, high-quality care to adult patients. Our 41-bed unit is composed of 15 Neuro specific beds and 26 intermediate specific beds; we work as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high quality patient and staff centric care with the full support of our providers and support staff.

Our team is supported with 24/7 leadership on the unit including two clinical coordinators available on dayshift & night shift and a stroke coordinator. Common neuroscience cases include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, TIAs, seizure/epilepsy, degenerative disorders, autoimmune disorders, and central nervous system disorders. As a certified Primary Stroke Center, our team has been recognized as a state-of-the-art stroke care center. Qualifications:

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
