Security Supervisor

Security Supervisor – Full-time, Monday–Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm.

Location:

Baptist Health Floyd, Radiology Department, Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area.

Directs personnel involved in establishing, promoting and maintaining hospital security and property protection programs. Performs duties personally or through subordinates, maintains performance improvement activities within the department, participates in Quality Assurance activities, assures competency of all personnel, assists with department operational and capital budgets, implements security functions while maintaining a positive working relationship with local, county, and state officials, and ensures department compliance with HFAP, state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols.

• Direct and supervise personnel responsible for hospital security and property protection.
• Maintain performance improvement activities and participate in quality assurance.
• Ensure competency of all security personnel.
• Assist in departmental operational and capital budgeting.
• Implement security functions and maintain relationships with local, county, and state officials.
• Ensure compliance with HFAP, state, federal, and local laws, standards, and protocols.
• Maintain an efficient and effective department operation while upholding high performance in all security matters.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• BLS certification from an approved BLS course required; training will be provided.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in security within a health care facility (preferred).
