Job Summary

Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassion to deliver high-quality care while respecting patient autonomy and dignity. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, and supports other responsibilities as needed.

• Assesses patients accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administers medications as prescribed and provides age-appropriate care.
• Develops and evaluates patient and family education plans.
• Utilizes nursing knowledge for treatments and services.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and assists physicians with procedures.
• Addresses psychosocial needs and communicates with social services for discharge planning.
• Practices cost-effective resource management and promotes patient safety.
• Engages in lifelong professional learning.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Computer literacy is required; additional certifications like ACLS/PALS are preferred.
