Associate Sourcing Manager
The Associate Sourcing Manager is responsible for the management of the product development and production process through cross functional team partnerships and vendor relationships. Reporting into the Senior Sourcing Manager to ensure on time delivery of product that meets the company financial goals.
The impact you can have:
- Support seasonal sourcing and production execution in partnership with the Senior Sourcing Manager, Merchandising, Planning, Design, Technical Design, Fabric, and vendor partners to align product needs with business trends and financial goals.
- Manage day-to-day production updates, troubleshooting, receipt flexibility, chase opportunities, delivery changes, and sample timelines to support on-time execution against the Product Lifecycle Calendar.
- Maintain and grow relationships with domestic and international vendors, including vendor screening, setup, onboarding, and ongoing matrix management.
- Analyze TNA metrics, cost submissions, business trends, and key category performance to support on-time delivery, margin goals, and strategic sourcing opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure product execution, quality standards, costing, and manufacturing options align with the original product vision.
- Use tools such as Flex PLM, Google Docs, and Excel to communicate updates, track progress, and support effective collaboration across teams.
You'll bring to the role:
- 3–5 years of experience in apparel sourcing, production, or product development.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Global Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Felx PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software.
- Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Familiarity with Google Docs
- Understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and global trade regulations/duties.
