Training Specialist

• Coordinate and deliver required training courses for DSV and client programs
• Conduct orientation for new associates and refresher training for current associates
• Develop and conduct role-specific competency training in systems and leadership development
• Monitor, measure, and report staff training and development plans and achievements
• Facilitate shift training on operations, quality, standards, and procedures
• Implement, plan, and deliver on-the-job training programs and courses
• Conduct and supervise employee training and development programs
• Enter all training information into the database
• Ensure quality and training programs meet regulatory, DSV, and client requirements
• Keep site programs audit-ready for ISO client and 5-Star DSV requirements
• Maintain equipment and materials needed for training delivery and measurement
• Develop and implement staff training and development strategies and measurement systems
• Verify equipment operator certifications and equipment validations before operation
• Issue certification cards, s, and safety cards
• Answer associate questions and coordinate with management and operations
• Evaluate associate skill levels, identify gaps, and provide retraining
• Maintain staffing changes, training files, forms, orientation packets, and safety packets
• Complete tasks assigned by the Management Team and work overtime as required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years’ experience working in warehousing and/or logistics preferred
• 1 year clerical experience
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Must be able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures ranging from mild to moderate during warmer and colder months
• English reading, writing, and verbal skills
• Intermediate mathematical skills
• Effective communication skills across management and entry-level team members
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience developing and implementing training programs
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures, warehousing terminology, and best practices
• Positive and professional attitude
• Ability to complete work with limited supervision
• Must be flexible with scheduling and able to change workdays and hours for training purposes

Demonstrates expertise in developing and implementing training programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and effectively communicating with diverse teams. Proficient in monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness while maintaining organizational and operational standards.
