This is a hands-on field role for someone who can run a jobsite, enforce safety, manage subcontractors, drive the schedule, protect quality and cost, and solve problems as conditions change. You will lead ground-up construction and occupied renovation work from mobilization through turnover. Travel is a major part of the job. Assignments typically last 9 to 36 months, frequent overnight travel is required, and you must be willing to live near the project site while assigned.

- Temporary lodging near the project site and frequent overnight travel are required.
- You must be willing to support both ground-up construction and occupied renovation work.
- Project transitions are based on the construction pipeline and business needs.
Projects may include:
- Ground-up multifamily apartment communities.
- Affordable and LIHTC housing developments.
- Senior housing, mixed-income and market-rate communities.
- Occupied unit renovations and resident-in-place modernization.
- Historic rehabilitation, building-system replacements, exterior envelope work, repositioning and capital improvements.

What You Will Own Run the Jobsite- Lead daily field operations from mobilization through turnover and closeout.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, site logistics and trade sequencing.
- Conduct site walks, verify progress and address field issues before they become delays, rework or added cost.
- Read and work from drawings, specifications, contracts and project schedules. Freely communicate with all design consultants.
- Maintain an organized, professional and accountable job site.

- Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings, conduct inspections and close corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents and near misses and support OSHA compliance.
- Inspect work against plans, codes, specifications, contracts and Wallick quality standards.
- Coordinate testing and inspections, manage deficiencies and drive punch-list completion.
- Manage milestone dates, critical-path activities and short-term look-ahead schedules.
- Monitor subcontractor staffing, productivity and commitments.
- Coordinate procurement, long-lead materials and site deliveries.
- Identify constraints early and implement recovery plans when work falls behind.
- Track field productivity, change events, scope impacts, expenses and cost risks.
- Provide accurate schedule, progress and risk updates to Construction Leadership.
- Coordinate phasing, turnover plans and resident communication with Property Management.
- Maintain resident safety and secure work areas throughout construction.
- Coordinate temporary relocations when required.
- Minimize disruption while maintaining schedule discipline and quality workmanship.
- Set clear expectations for safety, staffing, quality, schedule and follow-through.
- Address underperformance directly and professionally.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Leadership, Property Management, Development, inspectors, consultants and municipal agencies.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, photos, safety records, inspection logs, schedule updates, deficiency logs and change documentation.
- 12 + years of construction field leadership, supervision, superintendent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in multifamily construction projects.
- Experience with either ground-up construction or occupied renovation or rehabilitation work.
- Knowledge of construction means and methods, sequencing, scheduling, safety, quality, field cost control and project controls.
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades in active field environments.
