Position Summary

Schedule is 1B/ 6:00am - 6:30pm/Thursday/Friday/Saturday and every other Wednesday. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for building rapport and trust with clients by delivering exceptional service, accurate and timely data entry for shipping and receiving information, and support efficient operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process and input all customer orders, run and print shipments from WMS, run stock reports, generate required paperwork, check orders for special requests, expedite as necessary and trace orders.
  • Follow up with other departments to ensure service standards are met.
  • Ensure proper invoicing of accounts by verifying customers.
  • Handle returned merchandise efficiently and ensure proper credit.
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers, respond to inquiries and complaints, act as liaison between warehouse and customers for accounts, invoicing, and credit changes.
  • Ensure accuracy of receiving and shipping documents, gather and maintain data and records for shipping and receiving, confirm receiving counts match packing lists and purchase orders.
  • Prepare reports concerning customer service as required, assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Operate the computer terminal proficiently, enter and verify data regarding customer orders, shipments, receipts, inventories, adjustments.
  • Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain corresponding files, answer phone calls, operate office machines.
  • Greet customers and visitors, effectively correspond with customers, answer incoming calls courteously and timely, route calls, assist callers with general information, direct visitors, assist drivers at check‑in windows.
  • CSR may cross‑train in other administrative functions as needed.
  • Work overtime as dictated by business.
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year experience in customer service related capacity.
  • Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months.
  • Intermediate computer skills, proficient with MS Office and WMS functions.
  • English reading, writing, verbal and business writing proficiency.
  • Intermediate level math skills to verify product quantities and inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to perform duties with minimal supervision, multi‑task, effective communication skills, adaptability to change.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–3 years warehouse/logistics support experience.
  • 2–3 years customer service related experience.
Physical Demands
  • Occasionally: handling/fingering, sitting.
  • Frequently: bending.
  • Constantly: walking and standing, ability to lift/carry and push/pull 21–50 pounds, reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
Compensation

Expected base pay range is $24.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
