• Develop, anchor, and support the execution, compliance, and continuous improvement of internal and external safety programs.
• Drive a behavior‑based safety culture to achieve accident‑prevention and loss mitigation at E2 Optics customer locations.
• Develop site‑specific safety metrics to achieve corporate goals and champion initiatives to enhance safety performance.
• All employees are expected to follow safe work practices and adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures.
• Work daily with Site Leadership and Safety Coordinators to strategize efforts to promote safe work practices, safety awareness culture, and support compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Act as the site safety champion by conducting incident/accident investigations, documentation, problem solving, and implementation of countermeasures to meet safety performance targets.
• Maintain safety files and records structures for corporate and field audits to verify results, compliance, and business reporting to E2 Optics corporate and customers.
• Lead investigations of accidents and injuries at E2 Optics or client sites and cooperate in preparing material and evidence for organization use in hearings, lawsuits, insurance investigations, and regulatory agency requirements.
• Coordinate with Human Resources on drug, alcohol, and medical screening of all employees.
• Travel:
  This position generally requires minimal overnight travel (5%). The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in EHS discipline.
• OSHA 501 certification.
• CSP, ASP, STS‑C, IOSH and/or CHST certification equivalent.
• 8+ years of occupational health and/or safety experience in a construction environment.

The standard work environment includes indoor business office settings and construction environments. The noise level is usually moderate. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, move up to 25 pounds, and climb ladders up to 20 feet. The employee must also operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required, and may be required to work in tight, confined spaces.
