Commissioning Manager

Our client is a global Engineering and Consulting firm specializing in Data Center design and operations. Their services include programming, analysis, design, commissioning and maintenance. A fantastic opportunity exists for a Program Manager/Commissioning Manager for Mission Critical Commissioning.

• Planning, organizing, and monitoring projects and programs
• Create tactical plans and monitor, and report on progress
• Establish, with Client, the on-site escalation process
• Managing cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams
• Communicating objectives and direction clearly
• Develop a roadmap to connect projects to a Program (multi-project campus or site)
• Assess program performance
• Represent project team at routine technical meetings
• Assess project completion vs budget and coordinate staff adjustments and change orders with the Site Leads and Project Managers
• Preparing reports for Delivery Managers and Project Managers

• Commissioning background for MEP systems
• Project management background for engineering projects
• Position will involve travel (50%)
• Assist Development or QA/QC of BD proposals
• Develop or QA/QC Project Documents
• Program management coordination
• Script Templates
• Cx Alloy Administrator
• Support for onsite personnel with

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, PMP or equivalent military or industrial training with 7+ years of experience in electrical/mechanical/controls engineering, energy services, plant operations, or related field or construction management
• Experience in the commissioning or maintaining of critical electrical and mechanical systems
• Data Center/Mission Critical experience
• Experience working with general contractor and excellent skills in communicating expectations
• Knowledgeable in major regulations, industry codes and standards as well as basic construction materials, means and methods
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent
