Project Scheduler Senior

job summary:
A Project Scheduler Senior is needed for a world class utility company in the New Albany, OH area. This job is responsible for independently developing, analyzing, and maintaining complex project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, tracking metrics, and supporting project execution and compliance with organizational standards.

responsibilities:

• Define activities, durations, work sequences, and relationships for detailed scheduling.
• Develop milestone schedules representing key decisions and deliverables.
• Ensure all scope and deliverables are accounted for in the schedule.
• Organize and lead schedule review meetings with stakeholders.
• Document meeting minutes and action items.
• Provide schedule updates and risk assessments to teams.
• Communicate project schedule status and risks to stakeholders.
• Administer and uphold project management organizational standards.
• Assign user roles, profiles, and security in scheduling systems.
• Track metrics and KPIs; provide periodic status and summary reports.
• Perform schedule and cost integration (SPI/CPI metrics).
• Support systems and software for scheduling and project reporting.

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience OR
• Associate's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred fields:
  Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or Project Management.

• Scheduling experience in Transmission, Substation, Construction, or Engineering.
• Experience in utility operations, work processes, and procedures.
• Knowledge in design, operations, planning, cost analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or maintenance/construction of systems.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
