Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler (Senior or Principal level) to support project execution for utility and construction management projects. This role will coordinate team activities, develop and maintain schedules, track project progress, and provide schedule analysis to Project Managers (PMs) and senior management.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused, with proven experience in Primavera P6 scheduling and project tracking. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to interact with site execution teams, contractors, and management effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
, including activity definitions, durations, work sequences, and logic. - Integrate all scope of work elements into fully resourced schedules, applying critical path methodology.
- Track progress, collect status updates, and generate schedule/status reports for management and stakeholders.
- Identify schedule risks, provide mitigation recommendations, and communicate potential delays.
- Mentor and train junior schedulers on scheduling techniques, metrics, risk analysis, and reporting.
- Lead schedule review meetings with stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation and action items.
- Perform schedule and cost integration, including SPI/CPI analysis for scope of work.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, Project Management Governance, and client requirements.
- Support special projects and schedule-related initiatives as assigned.
Education / Experience – Senior Project Scheduler (Sr):
- High School/GED + 6 years qualified experience
- Associate’s Degree + 4 years qualified experience
- Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years qualified experience
Education / Experience – Principal Project Scheduler (Prin):
- High School/GED + 7 years qualified experience
- Associate’s Degree + 5 years qualified experience
- Bachelor’s Degree + 3 years qualified experience
Experience:
- Primavera P6 scheduling experience required (3–4 years for Sr, 5+ years for Prin)
- Utility or construction management experience preferred
- Knowledge of design, operations, project planning, cost tracking, forecasting, and project budgets
Licenses /
Certifications:
Professional or trade certification (CCMP, CETa, IQCP, PMP, RMP, etc.) required if candidate does not hold a qualified degree. Certification preferred otherwise.
