For the remaining one Ohio PM positions, the team wants PM - PM Prin level candidates.
Experience and education must be applicable to Transmission. Project Portfolio is growing fast and the expectation is the candidates will begin at top speed and be performing at high level quickly. Focus on major commercial construction, electrical utility or power system PM experience. IT and Telecom education and experience will not qualify.

40 hour work week. Flex schedule- 4x 10hr or 5x 8hr. No OT expected.
Travel consists of occasional daytrips to visit sites, but overnight travel is not expected.
Job Designation is onsite 5 days a week.
Potential to convert, as a reminder client does not sponsor.
Valid State DL required.
Prefer local candidates, may consider candidates willing to relocate at their own expense.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Manage one or more intermediate and/or complex projects (or program area of projects) within a matrix team environment. Provide leadership, direction, training, coordination, and effective communication to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close projects in a safe, efficient, economical, risk-balanced approach to achieve short and long range goals and to obtain maximum customer satisfaction. Develop relationships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders including internal customers, external customers, team members, suppliers, contractors, vendors, and industry peers.

Perform supervisory duties and responsibilities if direct reports are assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage assigned project activities with demonstrated proficiency in all aspects. Support and hold employees and contractors accountable for the client System Safety Process, ensuring a safe working environment focused on Zero Harm. Manage, develop, review and coordinate the project plan, schedule, budget, tools, and staff . Effectively manage cost and timely reallocate funding. Effectively communicate project details and status updates.

Lead planning meetings and project/outage updates including detailed and complex stakeholder presentations . Provide clear and concise written and oral reports and other communication. Develop and actively manage working relationships with the project team , plant and operating company staff, internal and external customers or partners , contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Foster teamwork and achieve customer satisfaction. Provide wide range of detailed guidance, instruction, and training to improve design, systems, procedures, processes, schedules, and costs.

Confidently challenge others at a high level of informed understanding in all project work . Ensure maximum customer satisfaction and demonstrate effective and efficient performance of project work activities on complex project level . Supervise up to two employees as assigned including duties such as completion of well written performance plans for professional development. Provide support to direct reports in their development activities and mentor other project managers.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field of study with three (3) years qualified experience or, two-year Associate's degree in the same required disciplines with five (5) years of qualified experience (see below).

Qualified experience includes work in project management, major construction field experience, project estimating, project controls, project engineering, and/or…
