# Project Overview:

Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. Bechtel Manufacturing & Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets.

Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the M&T global business unit also includes colleagues working in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, India, and additional project locations around the world.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will participate in subcontract formation and/or administration. Subcontract formation includes leading preparation and review of bid request packages and developing project contracts operating procedures. Subcontract administration includes continual progress review, forecasting, and communication of difficulties. Your work will ensure subcontract compliance with project requirements. Performs all phases of tasks involved in the sourcing, formation, tendering, negotiation and award and administration of EPC subcontracts.

Communicates with bidders and personnel within Bechtel to establish clear definition of requirements and to assure proper performance to the stated project requirements. Maintains a continuing review of the progress of each subcontract and provides management with information regarding any scope budget, financial, legal or technical difficulties. Prepares change order and amendments, negotiates with subcontractors and customers to obtain settlement.

Represents the company at all times with high moral standards and ethics.

Specific to this position, will interface with Subcontractors to communicate implementation of, and compliance with, the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) (40 USC §3141 et seq.; 29 CFR Parts 1, 3, 5, 6 and
7) including DBRA's prevailing wage requirements in conformance with the CHIPS and Science Act (CHIPS Act).

# Major Responsibilities:

+ Serves as liaison at a project site between Project Supply Chain for reporting of undelivered materials, Field Supply Chain for stored materials, and Construction personnel for accurate reporting of materials required for work package installation

+ Coordinates with responsible groups that materials are provided in a timely manner and in sufficient quantity to support the completion of construction work

+ Implements the planned construction activities and work packaging structure on the project through coordination with Field Engineering, Construction, and/or Subcontractors, and Project Controls

+ Ensures accurate distribution of materials to Construction and/or Subcontractor installation locations
