Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in industrial refrigeration, CO cold room systems, and automation within a GMP-regulated environment. This role will lead the design, commissioning, qualification, validation, startup, and operation of automated cold storage and refrigeration systems supporting manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and implementation of CO cold room and refrigeration systems.
- Support commissioning, qualification, validation (CQV), and startup activities.
- Oversee automation, controls, and software systems for cold room operations.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GxP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Quality, CSV, IT/OT, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and vendors.
- Drive operational readiness, training, system integration, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as SME for cold room automation, refrigeration, and cold chain operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of industrial refrigeration and cold room design experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on CO cold room design and operations experience.
- Experience with automation systems, controls, and industrial system integration.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, validation, and CQV processes.
- Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- 3+ years of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience
