Project OverviewBechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. Bechtel Manufacturing & Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets.

Job SummaryThe Mechanical Wet Commissioning and Startup (CSU) Engineer supports the safe planning and field execution of commissioning and startup activities for wet mechanical and hydronic utility systems serving a semiconductor manufacturing facility. Working for the EPC organization, the engineer coordinates across engineering, procurement, construction, quality, vendors, subcontractors, and customer operations to verify systems are complete, clean, tested, functionally proven, documented, and ready for turnover and operation.
The role owns assigned systems from construction completion through commissioning, startup, performance verification, deficiency resolution, and final handover.
