Job Summary
Responsible for working with Transmission SMEs, leaders, and the enterprise and transmission compliance teams to perform independent testing of established controls, identify control gaps, and develop new or enhanced controls to address gaps. This individual will have responsibility as the audit lead, in collaboration with SMEs and compliance stakeholders, to develop audit preparation materials, including RSAWs and supporting evidence. This role will perform evidence validation and audit preparation activities, including mock audits.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Perform independent testing/validation of internal controls.
- Work with stakeholders to address internal controls gaps through controls enhancements or new controls.
- Develop audit preparation materials (RSAWS, evidence).
- Conduct audit preparation activities.
- Perform evidence validation.
Education
: bachelor s degree (or three (3) years of additional experience in lieu of a degree)
Experience
: minimum of seven (7) years of compliance or related utility experience.
Other Requirements:
- High level of motivation and commitment to demonstrating the AEP core principles.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
Base Salary: $117K - $151K
