The RoleThe Controller will own the day‑to‑day accounting operations while serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and leading a high‑performing accounting and finance team. You’ll play a key role in driving process improvements and supporting data‑driven decision making across the organization.
What You’ll Do- Lead accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support board and executive financial reporting with clear, actionable insights
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and FP&A processes
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement
- Assign and prioritize work to ensure deadlines and accuracy standards are consistently met
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development of team members
- Partner with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and filings
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Drive process improvements and departmental initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to support strategic initiatives and operational growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- CPA required
- 7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with Net Suite is a plus
