The City of New Albany is seeking qualified applicants to become 911 Dispatchers. Candidates will take the Emergency Communications Exam through the National Testing Network, submit scores to the City, complete a Personal History Questionnaire, and undergo interviews and background checks.
The dispatcher handles police emergency calls and maintains radio communication with officers. Starting pay is $30.74 per hour ($63,953.76 annually) with annual step increases for the first five years.
