XRAY TECH JIS Orthopedics - FULL TIME

Work Schedule:

Monday‑Friday. No evenings, no weekends, no holidays.

Clinical Director

Responsible for assisting physician in patient care, performing all necessary x‑rays with a high degree of quality, escorting patients to rooms, providing medical assistance as needed, ordering medical and x‑ray supplies, and maintaining x‑ray records.

• Attend department, clinic or company meetings as required
• Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns
• Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow staff members
• Respond to changing situations flexibly to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary
• Attend programs
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all company policies and procedures; adhere to established facility safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment; identify potentially unsafe situations and notify supervisor

• Escort patients to x‑ray suite
• Prepare patients for x‑ray
• Perform x‑rays as required by physicians
• Document procedures performed in log book
• Escort patients back to exam rooms
• Communicate with physicians, patients and staff
• Provide medical assistance as needed
• Be available to physicians during office hours
• Ensure equipment is maintained properly
• Order x‑ray supplies as needed
• Pull, file and mail back x‑rays
• Answer patient questions

• OSHA adherence
• Filing as needed within 24 hours

• MUST be ARRT and have an Ohio Radiography license
• MUST be friendly, courteous and have good communication skills when greeting patients

Physical requirements for the position include the ability to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects. Must be able to climb, pull, push and kneel. Maximum unassisted lift = 50 lbs. Average lift 25-50 lbs.
