Requirements- Experience with component‑level repairs and troubleshooting on technical equipment.
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer/server hardware, or networking protocols.
- Ability to lift/move 50 lb (23 kg) and sustain physical activity over extended periods, including bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.
- Ability to work non‑standard hours: weekends, night shifts, holidays, and shift‑based schedules as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Completion of the Google IT Support Professional Certificate program.
- 2+ years experience diagnosing/troubleshooting operating systems, computer/server hardware or networking protocols.
- Experience with component‑level repairs on IT equipment or in a similar role.
- Experience working in a data center or network operations center.
- Strong collaboration and adaptation skills in a dynamic work environment.
Responsible for installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining server hardware and software. Also configure network components such as routers, switches, and protocols. Participate in small project teams and develop contingency plans. Tasks involve manual movement and installation of racks, demanding physical effort.
Responsibilities- Deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across projects or functions.
- Report issues and follow data center procedures to troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and apply resources to resolve them.
- Maintain security and integrity of data, tracking media for proper erasure per Google security standards.
- Disassemble end‑of‑life equipment for part replacement or maintenance within a team.
- Repair, fix, and perform preventative maintenance on servers, machines, and infrastructure based on identified issues.
The US base salary range is $78,500–$110,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
