What Makes This Role DifferentYou won't just be running cable - you'll be:
- Validating entire network environments before go-live
- Tracing circuits end-to-end (Layer 1-3)
- Reading and working from engineering diagrams & EDPs
- Identifying issues before they become outages
- Acting as a key part of network quality and accuracy
- Think:
hands-on + analytical + high-impact work inside data centers
- Perform network audits & infrastructure validation
- Build and maintain circuit maps and topology diagrams
- Troubleshoot connectivity + configuration issues
- Validate fiber and device connectivity
- Compare real-world installs vs engineering designs
- Document findings and work with engineers to resolve gaps
- Convert after ~640 hours
- Move into a full-time Engineering role
- Experience with:
- Cabling / infrastructure (fiber)
- Routers, switches, and data center environments
- Network troubleshooting
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
