Location:

New Albany, Ohio. Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week—dependent on business needs. Shift: 9 am‑5 pm local hours.

Supply Chain Associate – Procurement/Inventory Management What You Will Do

In this role you will be part of the Supply Chain team reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Sr. Manager and will participate in multiple cross‑functional initiatives for AOH to improve the overall planning process through enterprise‑wide programs. You will organize, drive, and support the identification and implementation of related supply chain systems and processes. The Associate Buyer will have oversight of placing and expediting orders to ensure components and packaging materials are available and will manage order‑management processing, including purchase orders, blanket orders, or other agreements as required for commodities, supplies, and services.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Procurement of printed and packaging components and raw materials.
  • Place, expedite, and/or negotiate orders with suppliers and resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies.
  • Receive, evaluate, and process purchase requisitions in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage purchase orders, vendor‑managed inventory, or other supply agreements, including expediting, monitoring, and updating orders.
  • Handle moderate‑complexity projects, including special projects to identify cost opportunities and savings.
  • Innovate when problems arise and find solutions within common business and manufacturing practices.
  • Maintain purchasing documentation to cGMP standards and ensure audit‑compliance readiness of purchase orders and related records.
  • Monitor and coordinate returns of goods.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and communicate metrics and data to highlight operations performance.
  • Respond effectively to crises and resolve issues arising from competing objectives, limited resources, or differing perspectives.

Basic Qualifications
  • High school or GED, 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Associate’s degree, 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, 6 months of relevant work experience.
