Job Title:

Supply Chain Associate Procurement/Inventory Management

Location:

New Albany, OH (Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week; depending on the business needs.)

Duration: 6 months

Shift: 9am-5pm local hours

What you will do

In this role, you will be part of the Supply Chain team reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Sr. Manager and participate in multiple cross‑functional initiatives for client Ohio (AOH) to improve overall planning processes and support enterprise‑wide programs. You will organize, drive, and/or support the identification and implementation of related Supply Chain systems and processes.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Procurement of printed and packaging components and raw materials.
  • Place, expedite and/or negotiate orders with suppliers and resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies.
  • Receive, evaluate, and process purchase requisitions for materials and services in compliance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Manage purchase orders, vendor‑managed inventory, or other supply agreements, including expediting, monitoring, and updating purchase orders.
  • Handle projects with a moderate level of complexity, including special projects to identify cost opportunities and savings.
  • Be innovative when problems arise and find solutions within common business and manufacturing practices.
  • Maintain purchasing documentation to cGMP standards.
  • Ensure audit compliance readiness of purchase orders and related records.
  • Monitor and coordinate returns of goods.
  • Monitoring of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Organize, analyze, and communicate metrics and data to highlight operations performance.
  • Respond effectively to crises and resolve issues arising from competing objectives, limited resources, or differing perspectives.
What we expect of you

You will possess the following qualifications and skills.

Top 3 Must Have Skill
  • Organization – well organized and able to handle multiple competing priorities between both Procurement and Warehouse Inventory Management.
  • Communication Skills – strong communication and ability to respond quickly and accurately, escalating issues as needed and supporting the team.
  • Proficient user of software applications – work within multiple systems including SAP, Smartsheets, Microsoft Outlook, and potentially others.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication and consistent follow‑up.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while staying on top of tasks and deliverables.
  • Technically proficient.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school/GED + 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Associate's + 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's + 6 months of relevant work experience
