As an Inventory Specialist / Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring technicians and project teams have the materials, equipment, and tools needed to keep operations running efficiently. This is a highly visible role with opportunities to gain exposure to logistics, procurement, inventory control, construction operations, and data center support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory for a large data center operation.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments and deliveries.
- Coordinate material movement and logistics throughout the facility.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations.
- Track material usage and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Support procurement activities by assisting with material ordering, tracking purchase orders, and coordinating deliveries.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Issue materials, tools, and equipment to technicians and project teams.
- Utilize Excel and inventory management systems for reporting and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

- Learn inventory processes, warehouse layout, and material flow procedures.
- Become proficient in inventory management systems and reporting tools.
- Build relationships with technicians, project managers, procurement teams, and vendors.
- Assist with receiving, shipping, and inventory control activities.
- Independently manage inventory transactions and cycle counts.
- Coordinate deliveries and material requests with minimal supervision.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and assist in resolving issues.
- Support procurement efforts by tracking orders and ensuring material availability.
- Take ownership of inventory accuracy and logistics coordination responsibilities.
- Develop process improvements to improve inventory visibility and material tracking.
- Serve as a key point of contact for inventory and material availability.
- Help ensure project teams receive materials on time to support operational goals.
- $23-$32/hr based on experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
