Responsibilities
- Supervises production associates performing tasks related to loading and unloading freight.
- Oversees and organizes cycle counts, inventory replenishments, and material returns.
- Ensures adequate safety measures are followed to protect personnel and property.
- Advises subordinates with questions or problems in any aspect of work activities.
- Monitors work and examines production areas for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Performs or assists subordinates in performance of duties.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Generally prefer 3-6 years’ experience in material handling operations.
- Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.
Demonstrates expertise in supervising production associates and managing material handling operations, ensuring adherence to safety measures and operational policies. Proficient in overseeing inventory management processes, including cycle counts and replenishments.
