Role Description

This full-time, on-site Maintenance Worker role is located in the New Albany, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The Maintenance Worker will perform daily tasks to ensure that buildings and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and operational. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, repair of mechanical systems, handling plumbing or electrical issues, landscaping, and responding to maintenance requests. The Maintenance Worker will also monitor supplies inventory, adhere to safety guidelines, and collaborate with team members and supervisors on larger maintenance projects.

Qualifications
  • General maintenance and repair skills, including experience with plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
  • Knowledge of landscaping, groundskeeping, and outdoor maintenance practices.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and utilize tools and equipment properly.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with staff and supervisors effectively.
  • Physical fitness to perform tasks involving heavy lifting, standing, and working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational certifications in maintenance-related fields preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school or similar institutional setting is a plus.
