Project Manager - Access Control & CCTV

Job Summary

The Low Voltage Project Manager is the overall manager for assigned project(s). The Project Manager ensures that all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed and managed in accordance with the Company’s requirements, including safety, quality, management and financial performance. All aspects of the assigned project(s) must be carried out as efficiently as possible with respect to staffing, materials management, financial management, customer care and customer delivery goals.

• Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.

• Plan for, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.

• Review all job cost postings for accuracy, including preparation of invoices, customer collections and periodic financial reporting.

• Manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work.

• Participate in or facilitate the bid process.

• Act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representatives.

• Create, develop and implement account process improvements.

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED equivalency;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and define and execute project scope and tasks.
• Proven problem‑solving, critical thinking and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of interpreting blueprints, specifications and quality requirements.
• License required;
  Minimum Years of Experience 6+.

The role requires self‑motivation, a positive approach, and the ability to lead and promote the Company culture. Must be able to travel within branch or regional territory as needed, use trade tools such as punch tool, crimp tool, volt‑ohmmeter, and continuity tester, and secure an American Express Card sponsored by the Company. Must be able to learn and use Company and customer project management systems.
