Must-Haves- Project Management experience within Transmission, Electrical Utility, or Power System
- Experience managing large, complex construction or infrastructure project
- Proven ability to ramp quickly and perform in a fast-paced, growing project environment
- Experience with Project planning, scheduling, and budgeting Cost control and forecasting
- Stakeholder management (internal & external)
- Risk management and quality control
- Project Manager – Bachelor’s degree + 3 years relevant experience OR Associate’s degree + 5 years relevant experience
- Senior Project Manager – Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience OR Associate’s degree + 7 years relevant experience
- Senior Project Manager – Bachelor’s degree + 7 years relevant experience OR Associate’s degree + 9 years relevant experience
- PMP Certification (strongly preferred)
- Lead one or more intermediate to complex transmission projects Manage the full project lifecycle
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources
- Lead stakeholder meetings and provide detailed project updates
- Ensure adherence to safety standards
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and external partners
- Monitor cost, schedule, and performance; reallocate resources as needed
- Mentor junior PMs and potentially supervise up to 2 direct reports
One of our clients is seeking a Senior or Principal Project Manager to support a rapidly expanding Transmission portfolio. This role requires a candidate who can step in and operate at a high level immediately, managing complex infrastructure projects with minimal ramp-up time. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in transmission, utility, or construction project management, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage risk, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Strong communication and stakeholder management are critical, as this role interfaces with internal teams, contractors, and external partners.
