Position: Pre-Weigher - 1st shift (New Albany, OH)

Bright Innovation Labs is seeking Pre-Weigh Technicians to join our expanding team in New Albany, OH.

Shifts and Hours

1st shift hours: 6:30a.m.

- 3:00p.m.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret batch orders to determine the correct amount of chemicals required for each production batch.

  • Accurately weigh chemicals according to laboratory specifications.

  • Double-bag and properly label all weighed materials using approved containers and tare weights.

  • Ensure that all drums, bags, or boxes are clean and compliant prior to use.

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety protocols.

  • Handle and store materials in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, and company policies.

  • Attend all company training, including GMP, SOP, safety, and cross-training programs to enhance skills.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience in pre-weighing or materials handling; experience in cosmetic manufacturing preferred.

  • Must pass an internal Pre-Weigh test.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow procedures consistently.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Basic math and measurement skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

  • Must be able to talk, hear, and see with close, color, and depth vision.

  • Moderate noise level typical of a manufacturing environment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position on 1st shift from 6:30a.m.

- 3:00p.m.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.
