Position: Quality & Inventory Technician – Label Room - Location: kdc/one, New Albany

Quality & Inventory Technician – Label Room

We're looking for a Quality & Inventory Technician to join our Label Room team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, issuing, and reconciling product labels to make sure production has the correct materials when they are needed.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with inventory, SAP, quality checks, and detailed processes.

What You'll Do

  • Receive and inspect product labels and enter inventory information into SAP.
  • Verify labels for accuracy and ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Issue product labels to production orders and stage label cages for production.
  • Process label returns and complete label reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Perform physical inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Work with Quality, Production, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve label issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs).
  • Operate and maintain automated label-processing equipment.
  • Help ensure labels are processed and available ahead of production schedules.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of warehouse, inventory, quality, or clerical experience preferred.
  • SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and complete tasks on time.
  • Comfortable working with computers and inventory systems.
  • Ability to work independently while also working effectively with a team.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, push, pull, and reach.
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer when needed.
  • Ability to use hands to handle materials and equipment.
  • Must wear required PPE.
