New Albany, OH 43054 Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Forklift / Material Handler / Pallet Staging

Description:

• Moves material to kitting line, stages bulk pack pallets, interfaces with outsourced transport, manages return dunnage/containers.
• PIT operators must be trained, certified, and evaluated under OSHA requirements (a.k.a. water spider).
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
• Loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling, shipping, and receiving.
• Checking and maintaining count accuracy within the warehouse.
• Effectively communicate with shift leaders and co-workers from other shifts.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Operate forklift, trucks, and/or other industrial vehicles.
• Thorough and accurate completion of required paperwork
• Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in.
• Stage finished product for loading.

Education:

Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
