JOB SUMMARY
Anomatic is a fully integrated cosmetics and personal care packaging supplier specializing in the design, fabrication, anodizing, metallizing, injection molding, decorating, finishing, and assembly of anodized aluminum and metallized packaging components.
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes across stamping, degreasing, anodizing, injection molding, assembly, decorating, metallizing, wastewater treatment, and facility support systems. This highly visible leadership role supports safety, quality, delivery, cost, equipment reliability, and process performance across all U.S. operations.
This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring a significant presence on the manufacturing floor to support operations, drive continuous improvement, and develop engineering talent.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team to support production, new product introductions, capacity expansion, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish engineering priorities, objectives, performance metrics, capacity plans, and manufacturing strategies that support safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and long‑term business growth.
- Drive the design, optimization, standardization, validation, and sustainability of manufacturing processes.
- Support new product launches by ensuring manufacturing readiness, process capability, equipment qualification, and successful production ramp‑up.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Development, Maintenance, EHS, and external suppliers to resolve manufacturing challenges, support process audits, qualify suppliers, and implement sustainable improvements
- Evaluate, select, and implement automation, advanced manufacturing technologies, digital tools, and Industry 4.0 solutions to improve productivity, quality, cost performance, and long‑term operational competitiveness.
- Oversee the development, qualification, standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, fixtures, work instructions, and engineering standards to ensure consistency across operations.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions related to safety, quality, delivery, equipment reliability, and customer concerns.
- Monitor key manufacturing performance indicators and develop action plans to improve throughput, yield, scrap reduction, labor efficiency, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Lead capital projects from business case development through equipment specification, vendor selection, installation, commissioning, validation, and achievement of operational performance objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, regulatory, and company standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditures, engineering resources, and project portfolios.
- Recruit coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent while supporting succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.
- Serve as a technical leader and change agent, driving cross‑functional alignment and execution of strategic business initiatives.
