RN - PACU

This position requires a 3x12 hour shift schedule from 05:00 AM to 05:30 PM. The shift includes on-call responsibilities during weekdays and weekends.

The PACU RN will provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. This role involves monitoring patient vitals, managing pain, and ensuring a smooth transition from anesthesia to pre-operative status.

• Monitor patients' health status in the post-anesthesia care unit.
• Administer medications as per protocol and physician orders.
• Manage patient pain levels and address concerns during recovery.
• Communicate effectively with surgical and recovery teams regarding patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery expectations.

• Active RN license required.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Prior PACU or critical care nursing experience is highly desirable.
