PACU Registered Nurse

New Albany, OH

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (0500–1730) | Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Monday/Tuesday/Thursday | On-call required | Onsite

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness in the immediate post-operative period
• Manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weekday call (1900–0500) and weekend call (0500–0500); nurses are not required to be on-site if no cases are scheduled
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Prior PACU or post-anesthesia care nursing experience
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation including weekday and weekend call shifts

• Experience in an ambulatory surgery or outpatient surgical setting
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and anesthesia recovery protocols

• Opportunity to work a consistent weekday schedule with a defined shift structure in a specialized surgical environment
• On-call flexibility — nurses are not required to be on-site during call unless active cases are scheduled
