Data Center Security Specialist

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Data Center Security Manager to join the Infrastructure Operations team and manage and improve site security operations in our data centers in the USA (OH, New Albany).

• Manage physical security operations, including access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance systems.
• Develop post orders, define security procedures, and ensure consistent deployment of security policies.
• Handle site incidents, participate in recurring site audits and reviews, and test new security technologies.
• Work with security equipment, participate in construction projects, and drive day‑to‑day process improvement activities.
• Manage vendors and coordinate day‑to‑day operations.

• 6+ months’ experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment.
• Experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as access control/intrusion detection and CCTV surveillance systems.
• Additional education or training in security‑related fields is a plus.

• 2+ years of law enforcement experience, or 8+ years of security‑related professional experience.
• 1+ year of team leadership experience.
• College degree (bachelors) or background in military, law enforcement, TSA security screening, or correctional facility officer.

Base salary: $28.00 to $50.00 USD hourly. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
