Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor processing, badge verification, and/or access control activities at the front desk of a utilities location;
Respond to incidents, alarms, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels when needed;
Monitor lobby and entry activity, review sign-in records, answer phones, and help to support employees, contractors, and visitors with directions and front desk assistance;
Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and document security-related events in required logs or reports;
Support emergency response activities by communicating instructions, coordinating with site contacts, and helping to manage access during urgent situations
